I design, I build, and I drive.
Based in Jaipur. Usually somewhere else.
Designing software is the thing I'd do whether or not anyone paid me to — the line between work and building things for fun blurred a long time ago. Five years in, the part I still like most is when nothing exists yet and somebody has to decide what the thing even is.
Things I believe
- The plain version that works beats the polished one that only lands in a deck.
- If the same feedback shows up twice, the default is broken, not the person.
- Handoff isn't where the work ends.
- A good interface doesn't need a tour.
Currently
- Owning NeoGrid, the design system at Sprinto
- Building Khata, because I couldn't get any expense app to fit how I actually spend
- Trying to make a design system that AI tools can actually read, mostly out of stubbornness
- Planning a drive I haven't told anyone about yet
Off the clock
- Driving further than the trip needs
- A camera in the bag and a backlog of photos I'll never edit
- Flying a drone with more confidence than skill
- A CSE degree I mostly use to build things nobody asked for
